Apparently available since 3rd Sept but came across it when looking at Aawards to Europe.
So now-
When planning your award travel online, you will now see flight options for:

  • American Airlines
  • airberlin
  • Alaska Airlines
  • British Airways
  • Finnair
  • Hawaiian Airlines
  • Qantas
  • Royal Jordanian Airlines

Would be really nice if they could include CX...

It's a pity travelling to Europe via Amman places the trip into two awards. It would be quite useful as a route from OZ to cities like IST, without the need to transit LHR. I wonder if AA could add a little flexibility?

Just noticed this as well, probably of little help ex AUS but it does create flexibility Ex Europe, there are now a number of ways to get to UAE and the Sinai resorts. Like other posters, would really like to see CX on the site without having to call all the time.

Now that QR is also in One World I thought I would ask the nice people at AAdvantage if we could have South Pacific- Europe awards via AMM and DOH for 45/60/80000 miles. If these are added to other new transit points such as DXB (QF only on AA) and KUL then this would be a nice enhancement - if I may use that word. If there is a reply I will post it.

I asked for an AA branded credit card in Oz. I hope you get a better reply than I did (which was none).

I did consider having a US "AA-linked" Citibank card issued. It's possible but if used in Australia (or eleswhere outside US) then each transaction will incur a forex charge. I wanted the sign-on bonus and a way of keeping miles active but it's not perfect. You may also need a US Social Security Number.

Just get the Diners Club and Mastercard combo. $389 annual fee but if you transfer to AA via Starwood, you end up with 0.78 miles per dollar on the Mastercard and 1.875 per dollar on the Diners.
