Rockfords discussion

A little birdy tells me that the 2011 BP Magnum has been released into cellar door (for non stonewallers) "while stocks last".

Called and confirmed the 2011 BP magnum are available but no mail or phone orders for us plebs. Hopefully it's still available in December.

Give it a year or so of being a mailing list member and they will send one out ;)

Not a Stonewall member but been ordering in last 2 year so they let me order via a phone a 2011 magnum.

Anyone have details on how much the 11' Magnums are going for at the cellar door?

When I pushed the 2008 magnums in 2014, they were $180/bottle. Given Rockford's pricing doesn't increase by much, I reckon it would be under$200. You could always just call and find out though.

I think they told me $200 when I was ordering some other wine - the '10's were $195

Maybe +1 & I should have popped in and grabbed one each as we drove past.

I was there on Friday and was trying to cajole some current BP out of them but they wouldn't budge on the March 1 2018 release date for NBs. Mentioned that I had been in a group and that Holly had given us special service in the cellar. Dropped Buzz's name but to no avail. Will just have to visit again next year.

Hope you Stonewallers leave us NBs some.

I was there on Saturday and same story. Must say +1 wasn't impressed at all with the tasting experience, that what happens when you stand in a small room with all the plebs and without access to the good stuff...
