I am unable to link my lounge invitations to the Rocky Qantas Lounge still. Shows as a link, but then says not available.

Anyone else have this drama - was told a couple of versions. "This regional airport not part of the Qantas website to link" (Ground staff - which I found amusing) OR "This airport so new we are leaving it only for our Gold and Platinum members" (from the online enquiry). Now having been in there with maybe a maximum of 4 other people at times, I can see that they need the room!!

Had a similar experience this week. Checked in online, rocked up at the door and no code on my boarding pass.

Knocked on the door, hung around for a while and then made my way back landside to get the code from the checkin desk. Back through security, entered the code a few times….denied.

Ok, no big deal. Waited a little bit and ultimately a fellow passenger with the correct code showed up (turns out I was given last months code).

Now here is where I got a little annoyed - right behind the door is the reception desk, which was attended. Surely the lounge attended would have noticed a bunch of people entering the wrong code several times and knocking on the door - we just thought maybe they hadn’t opened yet! Or.. why not leave the door unlocked if you are checking boarding passes regardless?

Anyhow, one of the better regional lounges with good views of the tarmac.

Yep, its a good place to stop. We now time our trips to ensure passing through before they close up for the day.
