Finally joined in the waffle party for Christmas.
This recipe (based around 1 egg) made 8 mini waffles in our "nostalgia" mini waffle iron.

I was impatient so only cooked for 3:30, may need to go slightly longer for crispiness.

Next time will omit or reduce salt and add butter.

Four seems the ideal time as long s waffle is preheated. Ours will get a hammering tomorrow.
 
I have NEVER wanted a waffle maker...but then I kept being reminded of them each time I opened this thread, and now I think I NEED one
That's the way enabling works. Grandkids ate all of it this morning.

3 to 3:30 is plenty for ours. And 2 minutes for the mini.
Yes. Maybe the machine has kicked in because 3 is plenty.
