No its Corian.

At the time of ordering the manufactured stone was just being banned but the non silica replacements had not been released
We did not want natural stone
We had Corian at a previous house so went with that instead. No seams anywhere...

After dinner out I did a late night trip to K-Mart, to purchase a waffle make for the grandchildren @Pushka and @blackcat20 , I bought the gingerbread shaped one.

Can't believe the people at K-Mart at night time!

Finally joined in the waffle party for Christmas.
This recipe (based around 1 egg) made 8 mini waffles in our "nostalgia" mini waffle iron.

I was impatient so only cooked for 3:30, may need to go slightly longer for crispiness.



Next time will omit or reduce salt and add butter.

Four seems the ideal time as long s waffle is preheated. Ours will get a hammering tomorrow.

3 to 3:30 is plenty for ours. And 2 minutes for the mini.
