Was about to search Mel to London, and accidentally ended up with LCY as the destination. QF website says this route is only available with points. Can anyone explain this?

Presumably there aren’t any revenue code share options into LCY. But you could cobble together a CR itinerary if there are seats.

Obviously, QF doesn’t fly into LCY, neither does EK. Someone else will confirm, but it would seem that BA, AF, KL codeshare agreements don’t include LCY either?

But there are plenty of potential CR flights from Europe and domestic UK that could be booked as CRs (if seats are available).
