RTW ex SYD

I am looking for a RTW solution. Flying ex SYD.

Prefer to travel in J or F, and on OneWorld. Will consider other carriers - lie flat seats are a big+.

Must visit destinations are HEL and BOG. Would also like to stop in HKG and MAD (with a side trip to RAK).

So one itinerary could be SYD-HKG-HEL-MAD-RAK-MAD-BOG-SCL-SYD.

Open to suggestions. Make it a bit interesting, while keeping the price reasonable. I am happy to go a little off the beaten track and to double back.

Two people travelling, departure October 2014 for around 1 month. Both have QF (one has 200,000+ and the other 100,000+ points) and Avianca LifeMiles (only about 10,000 points each).

Use your points for award seats to/from Australia; that's where you will get best value.
And if you don't actually need to go to HKG, then head to BKK instead
J award seats for SYD-BKK and SCL-SYD: (60,000 + 96,000) each x 2 = 312,000 FF pts + taxes.

Then....on Finnair fly BKK-HEL and HEL-MAD on the one ticket (Use Finnair multi-city with stopover in HEL)
BKK-HEL-MAD in J = AUD $1539 each

Then....on Iberia fly one-way MAD-RAK in Y for AUD $160 each (only a 2 hour flight)

Then .....on TAP Portugal fly RAK-LIS-BOG in J on the one ticket = AUD$2675 each

Then on LAN fly BOG-SCL in J = $1562 each (or $1000 each in Y; 6 hour flight)

Total : AUD $5936 each + 312,000 points

Looks good, but not keen on TAP Portugal. Is there anything MAD-BOG-SCL, with stopover in BOG? Avianca? Or RAK-MAD-BOG on Iberia?

Both those options exist. Just costs more.

If you're thinking of J award travel (ie "U" class) on QF or OW airlines using QF points you need to act fast as I can only see one award seat MEL/HKG on 15 Oct but nothing else to several days either side ex SYD, MEL or BNE to BKK, SIN, or HKG.

Ditto coming back from SCL mid November either to SYD or AKL.

You may need to look at other options for the return like purchasing AA or AS miles during a promo then booking a BOG/HNL J award which would be cheaper than a the J ticket BOG/SCL and then just buying a JQ Star Class fare HNL/SYD.
