RTW Trip with 2 adults and 2 children

You've said that you have all sorts of Status matches with lots of airlines in other threads but you haven't travelled much. I'm still trying to work out if you earnt some sort of Gold status legitimately on one airline through lots of flying then matched it to all the others or if you found some way to get status one one airline without flying and then matched it to the others.

Can you please tell us how you did this?

Why he is bothering I have NO idea. Why have gold status everywhere when you never fly? Except on award tickets through paid point promotions and the occasional $9 domestic flights on JQ?

I would love to be able to get a VA Gold (Im currently just Silver). If there is a roundabout way of doing this I would love to know.
