A week in Tokyo ,3 days in Kyoto and 4 days in Osaka where we are spending Christmas. The family then heads for Niseko to ski whilst we spend 3 days in Kanazawa before fling to Bangkok for 3 weeks there to warm ourselves up.

Thanks for the trip report @drron ! Coincidently Mother NoName was on a cruise with the 2nd half having seemingly a close to identical itinerary. They were 80-odd days from Vancouver to Sydney and arrived back home on Tuesday. So I’ve been reading your trip report as well as her’s on WhatsApp. Will confirm but 99% sure it wasn’t the same ship. 😂

EDIT: Confirmed as a different ship. They were on Viking Orion.
