Yep, can now confirm The Deck officially opens March 22, with The Cabin to close on April 30

I went to the Cabin for the first (and last) time in January for my KA flight. It was quite a disappointing experience. Not much food available and small compare with the Wing. I certainly won't miss it when it closes .....

We had a CX flight delay late one night/early morning and the departure gate was right next to the cabin. It was a welcome space, staff found some extra food, and it was kept open just for us as all the other flights around Gates 22-38 had gone.

Just paid my first (and most likely last) visit to the Cabin to have a look before it shuts down. I'd say on a sunny day the view towards Lantau peak is quite nice, but not enough to make me stay too long...I'll be on my way to the Pier F after a beer.

In any other port, I reckon The Cabin would have been considered a fine lounge.
Just that it was largely outshone by its siblings at HKG.
