What a pitty. I have a couple of AA codeshares on QF metal that I would love the opportunity to use some of my AA candy to upgrade.

There isn't much discussion about Star upgrades because nobody uses them. It is cheaper to buy miles and book an award ticket than buy a Y or B class ticket and upgrade with points. Very few people will travel on a B or Y ticket at all.

S on SQ metal is also eligible for *A award upgrades.
