$28 from Virgin to Market St near Swissotel. What do people think traffic will be like this afternoon around 4.30?

Uber x would be about $20 you'd need to make the booking from o'riordan st and then ask the driver to come into the domestic pickup

Omnicar.

You'll get a Caprice or Statesman. $47 flat fare plus tolls.

Cheaper than an Uber and you don't need to mess around booking upon arrival - they'll be waiting for you in the terminal when you arrive.

Omnicar are very good I use therm every week and they are always reliable

I usually use either the 400 bus, or walk to Wolli Creek (from the international terminal) or Mascot (from the domestic terminal) station. The train fare from either of those stations is about $4 from memory into the city, as opposed to $17. Both walks take 15-20 minutes. Though I realise it may be slightly difficult if you have luggage.

I've taken 400 buses many, many times, always from/to Bondi Junction. It does not go to the city though, once you're at Jtn, one may catch another bus or train to the city.

Much quicker to take that bus to mascot or Wolli creek. Then get the train.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Just took cabs both ways.

In the AM, went via O'Riordan St and paid $34.13. To the Swissotel (68 Market St, near the Pitt St Mall).

In the PM, driver went via the tollway. Paid $47.88. Big difference. Should have said to use O'Riordan again, but wanted to verify with hard numbers for next time.
