Hello all,

Am trying to calculate the SCs for some internal US and Canada flights I have coming up. All three are Q class (discount economy I think?), and all three have a QF number on the ticket.

The flights are Calgary to DFW, and then DFW to ATL and return.

Is there an easy way I can calculate the SCs available? I'm 40 SCs off getting into the next QFF bracket and want to know if these flights will push me over.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

If they are American Airlines Q class then you're out of luck I am afraid.

Where airlines are eligible to earn Status Credits, refer to the Status Credit earn table. It is the responsibility of the Member to check whether a proposed booking is eligible to earn Status Credits and if so how many Status Credits will be earned.

How many milage points (non status) would one get flying AA in discount economy LAX/SFO/LAS/MIA/DFW?.

Excluding JQ operated services, if the flights are booked with a QF flight number then QFF points and SC earn will be as for QF in relation to the booking class - Irrespective of the operating carrier.

Thank you Serfy - so it is just a matter of calculating the relevant miles for those journeys, and consulting the QF status earn table? On my count - I think it ends up at 50 SCs - so I might just scrape it in before the cut off date. Thanks for your advice.

YYC (Calgary)-DFW = 20SC
DFW-ATL = 15SC

So 35 all up, and 70 return.
