Thanks for that @AustraliaPoochie , we fall into the "old pops" category and seldom buy anything online (shoes and virus protection only). My old pops, got pinged with the "your package couldn't be delivered", he without consulting me, paid the $1.50 underpaid fee, and is now worried.
I had in the past, told him about scams in general, fake afp, ato, etc, but he knows more, does not listen.
He had deleted that particular email, so I don't know who the sender was.
His card didn't get touched, but I had told him to contact his bank, so went into online banking, as reported card as stolen.
Why is it, that older people always have the attitude that they know more about life in general/know it all.
If anyone else has older parents, at home, or close by, or that you still are in contact with, please tell them to be wary of the fake Auspost email, that is what my dad got, but as we know on here, for some too, its the sms.

Edit, the card didn't show any new transactions, before we reported it as stolen, so not sure how long from a person paying the delivery $1.50 or what ever sum, to when they start playing their games/
Because older people generally know more about life. Why is it, that older people always have the attitude that they know more about life in general/know it all.

I wouldn't include $340.18 and outstanding in the same sentence. This came after I had uploaded documents to MyGov but I followed protocol and didn't click on the link.
