I have received an email from "AUSBRB Registration Office Australia Business Review Board", inviting our business to be registered / listed / promoted as a business with consistent high reviews.

It looks a lot to me like being included in fax directories of yesteryear.

Anyone know if they are legitimate ?

Sounds doggy to me. Personally wouldn’t touch them.

They have probably got an "agent" here to buy them a range of prepaid sims, and so long as their Aust agent keeps the sim alive by recharging their prepaid service, they keep the 04 Aust mobile phone number.

I don‘t think so, I think their software “pretends” to be a random number - they don’t need a SIM.

Have received these for my businesses numerous times. It's a scam. Just like all the other ones about renewing business registrations, trademarks etc. They even indicate on their letters that they aren't the official providers to do this, yet people must fall for it!

Many scams like this. I send them on to the Trademark Office, ACCC or ATO etc, FWIW.
