Scams like these

If only we had a mobile phone locator tracer pinpointer service.
I am sure some of the mobile phone numbers used must be registered as real in Aust.

They do seem to fall for that IRL girl on YouTube tho.
Not sure if she does it for real, or if it's her friend on the other end.
Anyway YouTube seems to have a few sb ie scam baiters too.
We could string the next chook on, I have a few missed callers.
Could buy a calling card and do it that way, so after $20 is used up, that's it.
No more credit.
Or buy a cheap mobile phone and get a amaysim sim online only for scams, ie, you call them.
If they ask why you didn't use the phone number they called you on, you can say you lost your phone.

Was listening to a security fella on the TV today describing the latest "Mum, I've lost my phone" scam. The scammers are using AI to replicate your family member's voice to leave a message. They only need a few seconds of a voice online to replicate a good impersonation. Watch this space.

How did they fudge the date??

Looks a lot like the Amazon scam, maybe same scammerIMG_0787.jpeg

Do nothing, don't even worry about them fudging the date.
Read the "email" and you will see its a scam.
Their English is written like a certain group, granted that its too easy for this group to cut and paste logos of legit companies.
"service@intl-pa(ypal.com)?
Life is too short to muse about these sort of things, unless you are a scam baiter.

Sorry I know I wasn't supposed to share

My Dear.

My name is Diana Williams. I am working as an accountant in the Ukraine Ministry of defense. There is this huge amount of money: $25,000,000.00 (Twenty five million United States dollars). I made from an over invoice for the purchasing of ammunition I deposit in a storage firm. In recent times, the Ukrainian and Russian governments have been having issues and as a result I will need your assistance to receive and secure the fund for me.

I’m interested in investing in any good profitable yielding business and I would appreciate any viable ideas you could come up with. I don’t know if you can be of help to me and trusted for this. I will give you more details once I receive your response. Please keep it to your-self even if you are not interested.

Regards,
Diana Williams
