A few months ago CX proudly announced their support for Adelaide, SA by scheduling 6 flights per week between HKG and ADL with a new schedule to enable better international connection would commence 28 October. Unfortunately they didn't announce that from April 2019 they are dropping the new schedule and reverting to only 4 connections a week which is one less than it has been for years.
It will be disappointing that the support is only lasting 5 months if the reduced schedule is all their will be going forward.

Maybe, its wonderful that QF thinks all of ADL should fly to SYD, MEL or BNE to leave Oz. But when SQ, EK, QR and others fly direct daily its a disappointing signal from CX.

It appears that CX has lost a lot of Chinese passengers since China Southern commenced direct fights between Adelaide and Guangzhou.
