Mr too. Who are you with? If Qantas I could get you into the Qantas First lounge ( only one pax, so not housemate, sorry) . Can you do conversations; if so use that to reply.
OT, but does the QF seating open up fully at T-80 (or earlier/later)? They have that silly block allocation system between QF and LA that makes it difficult to get decent J seats - even as a WP…😏

@SYD - you must be on LA metal, QF code share? Can’t help with that. Regular QF flight, I ( or rather, my TA) had no problem with J seat selection as WP

Nope. QF code / QF metal.

We currently only get the “Window/Aisle” seat selection because several rows of Biz have been abducted by aliens…😁. The forward blocked seats (CL/WP1 land should open up at T-80).

Ah. On QF metal/marketed, I'm now within T-80 and everything is open, no missing rows, but I can't say I recall seeing anything different when I checked my seats a week ago. 🤷‍♂️
If you took seats forward you probably didn’t notice the missing chunk.

Here’s the LA block, same flight but LA806….

Yes, possibly. I'm in 3K (and I better bloody stay there!).
I’m in 3F and SYD+1 has 3K. I’ll pounce on 1K or 5K when it opens (if they stay free…).

Now, back to visas and trip planning….

Closing the loop on this for anyone with this ongoing issue.

The QF block opens up at T-80 but the seats in the LA block are still unaccessible until checkin it seems.
