And just to follow up, our E190 aircraft was swapped back to the 9J configuration. My selection of 2E/F had stuck through the latest change. However, with the new configuration, 1E/F exist and were available for selection. So we slotted nicely in for the short 1-hour flight with a nice hot meal (peppered beef) and a few glasses of wine. The Alliance E190 crew were great in both directions. I really did like the E190 in J - it is a very quiet aircraft, seats were comfortable with plenty of space, crew were really great, and plenty of overhead locker space, I expect the journey further back with 2x2 seating was very pleasant also, but just missing the hot meal service. Very nice for a 1-houor "regional" trip and certainly my preference over Dash-8 and 717 aircraft. And as I sort of expected, I can confirm that the QF computer system is at least consistent. My return flight has changed from a 9J to 10J configuration aircraft and I was moved from 2E to 3E while Mrs NM remains in 2F.
T-79:59 and I am moved back beside Mrs NM and marital harmony will continue.
