Background to this thread:

In a similar vein to the "Flight Availability / Upgrade Probability Help Desk" there has an increase in the posting of questions about specific seat allocation/availability on a flight. These are all valid questions and we all appreciate the efforts our members go to to provide answers.

The only drawback is that our forums can become "cluttered" with such queries. This tends to reduce the overall usability of our site.

This new consolidated thread is where you can ask questions about seating allocation/availability. Hopefully, this will reduce clutter and improve usability.

Guidelines for posting in this thread:

Please post questions about availability of specific seats in this new consolidated thread. Be sure to include the airline, flight number, Origin, Destination, date and cabin as applicable.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

Maybe some cancellations but not looking good at the moment. Seems lightly loaded in Y so maybe an option for an economy lie flat if you pick the right middle row
there seems to be a large number of cancellation based on my dummy bookings. could you help to check the updated loading pls. Many thanks.

My understanding is that the partitions between the two middle seats are not removable, but I have seen a mention of a screen that slides open between them?? Can anyone advise on whether this is true? My wife and I are flying business together for our honeymoon and would like to speak to each other during the flight. I note some good advice in the thread entitled Qantas A330-200 Business Class Seats from 2021 about a seating option sitting across the aisle from each other. If anyone has further advice to this to offer, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi @m1111 , and welcome to posting!

If travelling on the QF A330 (any variant) than unfortunately, that movable divider you've heard about (slides up and down) is not available... it is, however, available on the slightly newer version of the QF J suites on both the refurbished A380, and also the QF B787.

If travelling as a couple, I would probably still go for the middle pair, as it's not impossible to lean forward to chat and pass things between the two suites. Due to the slightly staggered alignment of the suites on most (all?) frames, it would be harder to chat across the aisles (middle aisle + window) and forward or back to your partner that way. There is one advantage of this option, though, which is that you are both on the same aisle, whereas with the middle suites, you can't move between the two sides and would need to go around a galley to get to the other

I find the aeroLOPA detailed seat plans have the best view of the layouts: check here and see if it helps:

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi all 👋

Could someone please help me out with seating availability in premium economy (W) for the following QF flights.
  • QF1 SYD/SIN Fri 7 Jun
  • QF1 SIN/LHR Mon 10 Jun
  • QF2 LHR/SYD Mon 8 Jul
Thanks in advance!

Could I kindly request the seat map for EY461 MEL-AUH tonight (29/5), please? Y cabin only. Curious what EF is showing. Thanks :)

Could someone help with the seatmap in economy of QF19 Sydney to Manila on 9 June please? thanks in advance.

I have booked a Business class award SYD-xNAN-NRT for next year on Fiji Airways. SYD on A359, NRT on A330. Other than my selections, both seat maps are empty.

The 359 is 1-2-1 and single window aisle has been allocated.

Somewhat of an overkill for a 3 hour flight but I'll live. :)

The A330 is 2-2-2 to NRT is an 9 hour flight departing midnight. These are angled flat recliners (8º).

Do any have experience with these seats and have recommendations?

They’re like the previous SQ regional recliners on their a330s (not the purple ones, but the ones in brown leather). As far as angled seats went, they were probably the least bad.

If you can get a bulkhead that’s probably the place to be. Otherwise the centre pair, so no one climbing out over you, or you them.

Could I get some help with the seatmaps of a couple of SQ flights in April 2025 in J, please?
  1. SQ220 on 06APR25
  2. SQ24 on 07APR25
Thank you so much, much appreciated.

The SQ seat maps in MMB should be fairly accurate. The bulkhead seats can be available for selection 96 hours prior to departure time.
Yeah, they match pretty much to the T.

However I had no idea if a PPS or higher had taken the bulkheads already, as on the MMB seat map it just shows up as occupied as do the other actually occupied ones.

Really really keen to snag the bulkhead ones at least for SQ24, the longest flight in the world does deserve some decent leg space!!

Will post back here around 5 days prior to departure to ensure that those are still "blocked" not occupied so can work out the chances of actually getting them at T-96.
