Oh, I’m eagerly looking forward (and hoping I’m not flying) to the day when Amadeus goes down again, or their own IT fails, and due to this rollout they have less staff at airports to deal with a problem. They’ll have big issues.

That's just mean.. it'll be the pax that bear the brunt of that horrible day, hopefully I'm not - unless I get compensated muchly :rolleyes:

I could very well be one of those pax, but wont QF look bad, having probably laid off most of their staff at the checkin counters by then. All the money they save from now till then will be used fixing the damage, and hopefully they’ll realise their mistake. Or not. :p

They will indeed look bad.

On that day.. go straight to the lounge. Do not pass security, do not collect compensation. Until later of course!
 
Considering I saw a thread this morning about new next gen card and tags arriving, I’m a bit disappointed to find an old card in my letterbox this morning. Still, finally have my card.
