Yes thats correct. but there does not appear to be an asterisk next to this cheapest claim
Magazines that do awards like that often only rank contenders who pay for advertsing

Hi PLANT,

Thanks for the referral - i used your link and my account was setup yesterday so you should have 5 free trades.

To confirm for others - you actually start on the default SelfWealth TRADING membership with access to PREMIUM features, so you dont need to downgrade to avoid paying a fee after the trial ends. Rather if you want to retain the premium features you need to change you membership.

Account setup - all was done online for me and given i have a corporate trustee for a family trust, multiple holdings to transfer etc i was impressed that it took from Monday evening (after hours) to then have my account opened on Thursday, with holdings in the account on Friday.

Initial Opinion - site is easy to use, the landing page for stocks "stock analysis" which is a Trading (not Premium only) feature, gives a great overview of financials, charts, forecasts, community sentiment etc. Only thing missing which is crucial for me is MARKET DEPTH. However considering im saving ~90% on my trades im happy to open Comsec/Nabtrade in another window until Selfweath gets market depth added to their features. They appear to be migrating to the Open Markets platform so this may be in the near future. Overall the information and features on the normal free Trading membership is excellent.

iPhone App - What is also fairly impressive is that they already have an iPhone app that also allows you to place orders, view portfolio etc and it also has the Stock Analysis feature. Like the site its intuitive to use.

Im very impressed so far and place my first trades today.

The cost of a trade is irrelevant to me.. sometimes I go a whole year with nil trades.
What is important is access to all the wheels and deals, quality market research, and a regular person to chat to.
I pay for this…. cheerfully….

^I acknowledge your comments but if you make a large profit ...... You only get hit with $9.50 instead of the % off other online broker accounts. The 90 day trail becomes a paid feature.... Something that maybe worth reviewing..... Currently no phone calls all via online chat/email.... Is a weakness I admit

No, market depth is not available. That's why I still have my ANZ ex-Etrade account.

I believe market depth is available now to view how many are buying at a particular price and selling at a particular price in the free version.

I use it all the time!
