Hi all need some.help
Flying Perth London and Then home via Dubrovnik Perth next year
We will be booking Singapore to London and back on FF points

If we buy a return Perth to Singapore with a 6 week gap for return, and our flights to London are on separate tickets , do we need to leave the airport to re do security etc if we just have carry on, or can we just transit in Singapore and join our next flight?

Which airlines for each of those separate tickets? Transit time?
Some additional needed here before anyone can offer advice.

(and welcome to AFF)

With hand luggage only you should be able to stay airside in Singapore. No need to enter.

That’s assuming you can get a boarding pass either through online checkin or via one of the transit desks. If a document check is required you may need to visit the airline transit/transfer desk.

Always the catastrophiser here, my concern would be a contingency plan should your flights in to/out of SIN be delayed @BallyK .

Lots of knowledgeable folk here to help.
Happy travels ✈️ and Welcome to AFF

If it was me, using two separate tickets I would be planning an overnight stop in Singapore and booking a hotel. Enjoy a day of Singapore sight seeing, shopping, dining etc. And reducing the stress of what might happen if my PER-SIN flight was delayed and I missed the PER-LHR flight.
