At least time zone differences etc. will make it less likely that serfty will get caught up in any Manic Monday Madness or similar.

What do you mean? SIN has great internet, both wifi and dozens of free public terminals (plus of course lots in lounges too). Name me an airport that has better internet service.

SYD has some free samsung things; they sort of work if you can get on one..... :roll:

They are not as good as SIN's however. I had a twelve hours SIN transit last year and fond them useful.

Strangly though, mid afternoon the service went down in both T1 and T2 for an hour or so. There were plenty if people aimlessly hitting keyboard buttons in the hope of a response. They had strange blank looks on their faces. :shock:

Well John, I can't fly OzJet any more unless I charter the entire 737, so I thought I'd return to one of my previous avatars.

In terms of allegiance, now that OzJet has gone, I guess I'm back to having none. I refuse to pay QF's exorbitant domestic J fares, so I'll be travelling at the back of the b_s from now on, not having my jacket hung up for me, eating before I get onboard... :cry: I guess I will fly with whoever has the best price and schedule. Of course all else being equal, polite and smiling FA's will swing my selection their way! :wink:

I actually do have a QF domestic business class (D) ticket SYD-MEL next month, but it was purchased as part of an international trip to SIN and therefore was reasonably priced. After that it will be row 30+ for me.

P.S. We're pretty close on the ozmark poll. Want to split the prize?

Yeah, I'd be happy to split the prize. Knowing my luck it is probably a Jetstar flight.
