Sorry but the speculation here is nonsense. We have several WP in the family who fly to PQQ regularly. Even when checking in other family members I have never been able to preselect anything in front of Row 4, regardless of gender. I have had an empty seat sitting next to me at times, and other times the seat has been empty.
 
As for the original question, while it would be theoretically possible for Altea to factor pax gender into seating assignments, I wouldn't see why they would create a business rule to have it do this.

To stop the male pax being seated next to UM's :shock:
