Is it possible to travel to the Seychelles with FF points?
I've searched a lot of dates on the Velocity website for AUH - Mahe, Seychelles, but it keeps coming up with No Flights Available for Points redemption
This is the only useful thread I could find, but I'm wondering if Etihad AUH - Seychelles then Seychelles to Australia would be an option

Ha ha, I wish!!
Unfortunately the government knows every cent I earn and I couldn't hide a cent if I wanted to.
I'm just looking for creative ways to get home from Europe with a stopover somewhere interesting

Can you fly AU by SAA to JNB and then Air Seychells from there to SEZ?
According to the Air Seychells website, they fly to JNB.
SAA is now a partner with VA, so you could use your points to get to JNB at the least then pay a bit extra to get from there to SEZ.

I'm looking at taking my partner on vacation and he Seychelles is an option. I agree, head to South agrica on points and pay the small fee for the flight to Seychelles.
