My first ever flight as SG is tomorrow and I have been put in the bulkhead row (that's good) but in the middle of a 3 when my preference is Aisle. The odd thing is the seat next to me shows not occupied but like it doesn't exist. Is it possible QF shadow SG ? I didn't think that was the case.

I've had a shadow as a SG before.

Seat does not exist? Where are you looking? Qantas.com? Expert Flyer?

Any hints as to the what flight it is... what type of aircraft?

I also suspect that once I was the beneficiary of an SG shadow, but I don't have a way to confirm that, just that from my look around the fairly full flight, the seat next to me (second row of economy) was the only empty seat I could see. I first thought QF wanted to make me lonely.

I spotted it as +1 (silver) was on a different booking to me. I could not move her next to me. I had to move myself to be next to her!

At first thought it looked like you have an international config. - has no 23F.

http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flying/inTheAir/ourAircraft/763-25J204Y.pdf

But a seat map for Aug15 noe shows a plain domestic config.

FWIW, 23E no longer exists on the flight - so I assume there has been a recent equipment change.
