This is a new section which was inspired by a suggestion from some of our members. www.frequentflyer.com.au/discus/viewtopic.php?t=769

One good airfare which we have come across is the QF/AA $999 special from Australia to the US via Japan. Read about it in this month's newsletter. www.frequentflyer.com.au/gazette/march05.htm

Admin,

Thanks for opening this new topic. :D I'm sure it's one that will be well used.

One consistently cheap airfare is Air Niugini's flight from Brisbane to Tokyo return once a week via Port Moresby. It is usually in the sub A$1000 bracket and the service is aboard a 767 and not usually packed full. Good straight Qantas type service and food. Can't understand why it is not offered by travel agents more often. I have used it at least 3 times and friends and family have all said it was great.
A hidden jem in my humble.

I just found a nice companion fare directory at 2 for 1 Programs. Great deal if you are traveling with your spouse.

Robin

With a bit of planning you can usually beat these 2-for-1 deals, sometimes by a big margin. Invariably they require purchase of a high fare class for the desired cabin. If you can manage to get 2 heavily discounted fares it will usually be less.
