Last year I travelled BNE to DBX on EK in J. In the travel kit was a 56g ( 2oz ) can of Gillette shaving cream.

This lasted me more than the 7 weeks I was away. It is the perfect size for the FF toilet bag but I have not seen this size it in any supermarket here.

Does anyone know where to purchase this product at home ?

My local Coles has a section in the toiletries aisle dedicated to items that fit within the LAGs restrictions.

That's where I pick up mine. Here's what I got the other day to top up my stock:

I'm fairly certain they had the little cans of Gillette shaving cream there. I didn't look too closely because my standard shaving cream comes in a 65g tube so I don't need a separate type for my travel bag.

Maybe try your closest Coles?

Thanks for that.
I should have typed foam instead of cream but will still check out Coles

As an alternative you could also use shaving oil that you can get at chemists & Big W. Only need a few drops for each shave.

I got small can recently in the new F Payot Male kits, indeed very handy.

If you can't get one I can post you this one.

A second vote for the shave-oil. Compact bottle, easy application, great shaving comfort, everybody wins.

There is no way I am ever gonna put aerosol-pack foam on my face, even if it comes in an F amenity pack.

I've seen those small Gillette foams in chemists.

And another supporter of shaving oils. Much better - as long as they don't leak in your toiletries bag!

Big W has a whole section (well in WA atleast) to travel sized toiletries.

MH had a mens L'oreal pack (moisturiser etc) that came with a travel sized shaving cream. I purchased it a while back for about $10 all in, and it lasted a while whilst being very good.

Sorry guys,

About to open the 1st beer and prepare the lamb chops for the BBQ.

Will check this thread tomorrow !!

Another vote for shaving oils. I usually get the "King of Shaves" bottle with a pump dispenser. Cleaner and quicker to used than foam, and I can more easily see the way around my beard.

Another vote for shaving oil, king of shaves but there are others. it would be good to see one of these companies do a co-promotion with QF to have them in their ammenity kits. hint hint

Coles NSW (well some in Sydney) also have a number of travel size, shampoo, cond., soap etc.

Now all i need is a 1125ml bottle of wild turkey to fit into 100ml and i will be fine:mrgreen:

King of shaves is my fav too. Currently using the Kinexium Serum - which I like, but previously have used the small oil bottles. They are good, although one thing you have to watch out for is the oiliness of some of them (hard to remove from face, leaves oily hairs in the sink).

there is a great website travel beauty sizes for all travel size products 100mls or less

If in a Qantas SYD/MEL F-lounge, go to the showers and there might be a small Gillette shaving aerosol in the drawer. As for the shaving oils... actually a good moisturiser does a better job imo. But either way - it's more messy using these products than foam- they tend to just drop off the shaver onto the floor or all over the vanity. I guess it's not such a problem when staying in a hotel - but at home it can be messy! But it's a better and smoother result!

I now use Schick Shave Gel in a 75ml can. As well as convenient it's also anti-irritation and quite soothing.

Any chance of a hint as to the website address?

I know as you have less than10 posts that you can't post links but you could type xx_.travelbeautyproducts.1000ml.com ...

Went into a normal supermarket in Germany last year and they had a whole section full of everything in travel sizes.
