Shortchanged when transferring Hilton Honors points to Qantas

This thread reminded i had a small stash of HH points that were gathering dust as Hilton rarely a good option for my travels.

Pulled the trigger on a Qantas redemption and am waiting to see what lands.

Based on the above experiences I am guessing much follow-up will be required. I will report back.

This is a longstanding issue. I did this recently and experienced the same "! only got 10% of what I should have gotten".

Hilton is not the one at fault, when contacting them they said that they had transferred over the required amount.

When interacting with [email protected], they eventually conceded that this was a 'system issue' at their end with Hilton transfers and credited me with the remaining 90%. Given that the same thing happened two years ago when I did the same thing, it's clearly not high on their list of system issues to address.

Needless to say, will not be transferring Hilton to QFF again.
