Shower or Bath in Hotels

I prefer a walk in shower with a separate tub if I have a choice. Sometimes I love to enjoy a nice glass of wine in a not soak, but I absolutely hate showers in tubs. It just makes me think I am going to slip as I get out. If they only have one I would take a walk in shower over bath any day.

I have a toddler so a bath is a lot easier, separate from the shower preferably.

Browsing for a hotel to book in NYC, just come across this beauty...

Each room has a king-size bed, and a marble, three-fixture bathroom.

Fancy way of saying - shub.

What I hated on my recent UK trip was the incredibly complex taps on both showers and baths.

One part is the temperature with minuscule markings and the other side is the flow combined with the choice of outlet where there were two coming from the same tap, e.g. flexible shower or overhead shower.

Yes, they're horrid. You just about need a degree in plumbing to work them out....and they don't seem to exist anywhere else. I guess the locals don't use the bathroom enough to notice!

Our current room has four 'taps'. Shower head, movable shower head handle thing, bath, and temperature.
