Loosing two senior execs in the high profile roles would suggest to me something is up. I am sure AJ has had the lawyers all of this to ensure they can justify why they don't need to make a further market statement.

Could it be these two spoke out against some of the changes or even spoke out against Joyce?

Not so sure about where QF Domestic might head. New chief's recent history includes Jetstar and Tiger Australia. More "Jetstarisation"?

Olivia Wirth might be up for another promotion.

I would like to offer my services for a modest fee to be the proof reader for QF correspondence unless "faced tough" is like a "shirtfront".

"This business has faced tough a tough market environment however has risen above the competition to emerge as a stronger and leaner business, with significant improvements to its customer service and cost base."

I noticed a recent submission to IASC for Canada was of a similar high standard even though it was only five short paragraphs

"Qantas plans operate seasonal services between Australia and Canada"

My bolding in both quotes - no wonder we have difficulty understanding their policies.

It's almost as if a #&$%*!~ footnote should be there somewhere too.

It's extraordinary really but it isn't just Qantas staff, literacy is generally on the decline in Australia. Fortunately we AFF members are able to keep what limited skills we may still posses alive by posting regularly on the forum.

Possess ????

Possess ????

Indeed the autocorrect would have done that as it regularly does...substitute another word for the intended one and if you don't proofread carefully then that's what can happen. It's a sign of the times. Funny (autocorrect wants me to use Dunny)

The Ibisation of QFd or the Ryanairing of QFd?
If anyone had spent as much time at the Ibis at airports or the former Formule1s as I have, they would know min services... no phones, no bar fridges, TV on wall, loo like in a prison cell...
