Simple, quick SC Earn Question

Really quick Q - I've got to hop down to Sydney tomorrow. Does a Classic reward booking in Business earn the same SC's (40) as an Any Seat reward booking?

Classic Awards do not earn SC or points.

No - a classic reward booking will earn 0.

It depends on the fare rules. But in general if you do it online they will convert the points into a $ credit at a very point rate. If you ring up you should be entitled to have the points refunded, but you will probably have to pay an assistance fee. All this is if you haven't started your travel.

But note it will depend on what the fare rules say.

I cancelled several JASAs a few months ago. No assistance fee. All points returned, and monies deposited back on my credit card. Maybe I was lucky.
