Is there a similar for the IntFLounge SYD/MEL?
There's no such thing. You get no physical access on an international arrival as you are directed straight to the arrivals - unless connecting internationally, in which case the lounge access applicable to one's onward flight applies. If one's arriving in SYD/MEL from a international flight as specified (ie QF, OW or EK) then you'd ONLY be allowed access to the domestic lounge as per the policy. Not International. You would not be allowed back through to access it. simples.

Anyway in this scenario on the LH issues QF/SQ tricket, no, QF lounge access wouldn't be available in SIN as onward flight is on SQ. The usual oneworld rules by class of service (ie F) also don't apply, because the onward flight is not on a oneworld member.

So would have to use SQ lounges.

Just the way the arrival passengers are herded would mean that IntFLounge arrival access near impossible👍.

The ET article though suggests at least in theory that's possible - for AU IntFLounge

As far as I can see, the ET article refers to access to the domestic lounges after arrival, not to an International lounge.

Agree. They basically say it's for access to domestic lounge on arrival from qualifying international sectors. Nowhere do they say it's for access to an international lounge - since that's not possible on arrival to Australia.

Ah....
I've read it again. Yes the international just refers to international arrivals who then access Dom lounges . Slow.....

Thanks both @oz_mark and @RichardMEL
I used this last year on arrival into MEL from KUL on an overnight MH flight - after passing immigration and customs I went to T1 and had a shower, a bit more breakfast and a coffee or two. (Although the lounge agent was a little dubious of my MH BP.)

Wasn't sure if I should post a new thread or bump this one.

A similar question to the OP but as it relates to arriving on QF coded/QF metal flight connecting to a QF codeshare flight operated by a non-Oneworld airline.

As a WP would I have access with a guest to the QF lounges in SIN? (The codeshare airline has no lounge in SIN and this would be a WHY ticket).

Oh, and the flight departs same terminal as QF filghts.

No unless that airline is EK or JQ.

If you are on a Qantas Marketed flight (that is a QF flight number) and the lounge is open before your flight then you have access.

Thanks Serfty.

From my bit of digging I thought the interpretation was a bit murky. I missed that little asterisk which now gives me a little hope that I might be successful.

Flight is not until September but I will report back as to outcome.

Qantas' inflexibility with arrival access in SIN is quite frustrating at times. I arrived on QF at about 5pm and had to go straight for a dinner engagement on arrival. I asked very nicely for an exception as I was desperate for a quick shower as it would be another 6 or so hours before I'd be able to have one. I made it clear I would not be partaking in any food or drink.

I was told - point blank - by the Lounge Manager that Changi Airport does not allow arriving passengers to use the lounge. I was quite forceful with my rebuttal, reminding him that SQ provides arrival access - it's not an airport policy at all. His response was a blank face.

All was not lost though. I trundled over to the T3 SQ F lounge, handed over my inbound QF boarding pass and my SQ membership card. They welcomed me with open arms, despite me not being their passenger that day. It's these little things that really matter, to me at least. I won't be back on QF unless I really have to. So next week.

Different lounge but similar story and also reminds me of the scenes from Pretty Woman:

We may have enough material here for a Pretty Woman sequel?

Back with an update.

Visited the Singapore First lounge on arrival from delayed SYD flight connecting to QF code share to Koh Samui (USM) operated by Bangkok Airways (PG).

Explained to the lounge agent we had just arrived and could we access the lounge as a WP using my boarding pass for the PG flight (but with a QF code). He took the boarding pass, had quick a look and said "your flight is from terminal 1 you won't have enough time". Before I could disagree, the other agent told him that PG operates from the same terminal as QF and it wouldn't be a problem.

Boarding pass was scanned and my guest and I were given access. Only just enough time to change clothes and grab a soft drink unfortunately. At least I didn't have to waste time arguing whether we would have access or not.

Weird from the first agent; the SIN Qantas First Lounge is indeed in Terminal 1 as we all know.

Some agents are employees of the contractor? When I fronted up with a Jetstar BP once at the J lounge, they said Jetstar wasn't a QF partner (!!!!) and had to defer to superior. No idea.
