On Sunday 9 July 2023's morning, Sydney airport has largely been down to just using the east-west runway (due to strong westerlies), meaning delays.

SQ232 (A388 9V-SKU, the 1100 hours SYD-SIN) was affected, not taking off until 1230 hours. Expected gate arrival becomes 1840 hours, 70 minutes late.

However, earlier despite all other aircraft using the east-west runway, QF11 (also an A388) took off to the north, unlike SQ232.

This morning's (23 August) 11.00 service to SIN, operating as SQ232 (9V-SWG) appears to have copped a more than 7 hour delay, and is now shown as leaving at 18.25 this evening.
