There's a couple of paths. One is from the home page go to Entering, Transiting and Departing. Then go to Automated Clearance Initiative

So my experience. We were issued with a 90 day e-Pass when we arrived in SIN in Late May. That was extended and our current 90 day e-Pass was issued on the day we arrived back into SIN in September. We entered throuh the e-gates.
Our current pass is good until 21/12/22. We will be re entering SIN on the 7/12 and I presume this will automatically reset the 90 days. That means we will still be OK for our March 23 trip.

Looks like this has just been expanded to all Oz (and some other) passport holders 6 yrs+. No enrolment necessary.

What's the difference between the two programs though?

Missed this - I suspect one will be discontinued or only used for those needing it who passports don't qualify.

As already discussed the original one from 2018 required specific enrolment via an appointment if you met certain criteria including frequency of visit.

This initiative simply requires passengers to use designated lanes / counters on arrival into SIN; enrolment is automatic and most of the eligibility criteria such as frequency has been removed.

And, yes, the automated enrolment initiative has been expanded to T1 lanes.

Presumably if your passport works in e-Gates now you should be good.

There is "enrolment"; it is just that there in no obvious process any more being automatic when you are processed on entry the first time it is invoked.

It seems odd, because it's a alternative path to the manual process of enrolment. I suspect a programmatic "bolt on" to an existing system.

The web site makes it clear "Automated Enrolment Initiative".

In Terminal 1 they have both new white egates (which those from eligible countries can use) plus the older egates which are still signed for Singapore citizens/PR.

I'm enrolled as a frequent traveller and can use both however I was travelling with people who can't use the older gates and have to use the newer white egates.

Can confirm. Used the Singapore Citizen/PR eGates successfully in T1 and T3 within the past fortnight.

There was a short line for the new (white) eGates so a welcome benefit.

Were / are you enrolled in the old system? Or you’re saying both gates now work for anyone on the approved list?

I am registered under the Frequent Traveller program.

I got rejected by the new gates the other day. With an almost new passport.

I asked why at the manual desk I was directed to. I was told it was because I was a transit visitor.

I was going directly by land to Malaysia.

It might reject transit day trippers too?

Presumably visitors still have to complete the SGAC prior to arrival. Maybe it rejects you if it cannot link your passport to the SGAC.

Yes you definitely do have to fill in the SGAC or you will get rejected.
