Trying to unravel the available lounge options for Singapore which I thought I had sorted until I realised that the SIN QP doesn't open until 14:30.

I'm QF Silver with QC membership, what ideas/options are there for lounge access?

Flight 1:
1300 hrs: Departing on 3K.
Unlikely Ideas: Cathay?

Flight 2:
A few days later 1515 hrs Departing on QF ticketed Emirates flight.
Ideas: Emirates?

Flight 1 is a nice to have access as we'll only get to SIN form the city. Flight 2 we'll have a three hour layover.

I've searched a few earlier threads but can't seem to get a definitive answer:

THanks,

As a QP member it's either the QP or nothing I am afraid - it's simpler and fairer ;)

QF Lounge in SIN opens at 14:30 and closes at 23:00. Otherwise you are out of luck.

I love the swimming pool in the trainsit hotel in T1.

Thanks for the clarification.

I'm surprised that I can book an Emirates flight on a QF flight number and not have lounge access. That's the breaks though.

These days, with all the enhancements and simplifications, nothing should surprise you!

One point to remember is that the QF Singapore lounge does not make boarding calls for JQ or EK operated flights.
So just remember to keep an eye on the time in the Lounge when on a EK or JQ operated flight.

To summarise.
Qantas Club does not provide as much access as Gold/Plat to EK lounges, much like it is also restricted in terms of oneworld access (only really AA and selected BA lounges)

Qantas Club Only
JQ - Only access to QF lounges.
EK (QF Coded) - Only access to QF lounges. Allowed access to EK lounges in DXB only. No access if EK coded ticket.
CX - No access

Qantas Gold/ Plat
JQ - Only access to QF lounges (not part of oneworld or the EK agreement)
EK (EK or QF Coded) - Access to either QF or EK lounges (apart from EK Nth American lounges) (** reports that some EK lounges (eg. MEL) will direct you to QF lounge)
CX - Access to any oneworld operated lounge

----

So unfortunately for the OP they will have at best 20min lounge access on the 2nd flight.

Thank you for the summary.

I was intrigued to take the afternoon flight back to BNE to see how I would feel the next day. I'm tiring of the overnight returns from Asia.

Not any more re BA lounges. All part of the post-EK decimation of QP lounge privileges.
