I will be arriving in Singapore from Frankfurt on a Sunday night and my wife will be joining me in Singapore from Sydney some 3 hours later. Would it be possible to enter the Qantas Club in Singapore when I arrive to kill some time ? I am a Gold member

Thanks, Chunky.

Not if you are using it as an arrival lounge with no onward flight.

Technically no and you may not have the right colour card although it does not hurt to ask and may well depend on how busy the lounge is at the time.

A Platinum and Partner Gold were able to use the SIN First Class Lounge as an arrivals lounge a couple of years ago.

ISTR there was another WP outbound at the same time whom they were meeting.

Such may be possible in SIN as arrivals and departures are mixed.

Only guaranteed if you book an onward flight on QF, CX, JQ(not 3K) or JL on a fare that is fully refundable - and cancel once in lounge.

I'd try my luck without this method, and if you don't have any luck there are pay lounges available for around $20-30 SGD. Or in the E pier in T2 there's a nice area called "the Oasis" which looks quite pleasant to relax in waiting for you wife to land. Plenty of places in any of the terminals at Changi to go to kill time without needing to be in a lounge.

Yes there was but I still think it is possible to use it as an arrivals lounge with the right status at quiet times.

That type of setup definitely has it's advantages.

I have another overnight transit there again next month and it is just not worth it to get out to a hotel in town with a late night arrival and early morning departure so will simply try to use the Skyview Lounge all night and then collect my luggage from keeper in the morning and re-check it.

I am flying from SIN to BKK on CX - can anyone recommend a lounge between QF J Lounge and the Skyview lounge. I'm departing at 1330. The QF F Lounge in SIN is fairly low key during midday ie little food etc...

I have done this flight many times and the QF J lounge will be empty and will have very little food. In fact it is not quite closed but the cleaners will be around.

I know people on AFF do not like the Skyview Lounge but that lounge would be my recommendation. Not a lot of food on offer there iehter but there may be some sandwiches, cakes (continental sponge) in fridge, noodle cups, dim sims etc.

From memory the F Lounge does not open until 3:00pm.
