Will Gold Elite benefits be honoured via Amex Travel portal?

For Fine Hotels and Resorts, generally yes. For regular Amex Travel bookings, generally no.

We stayed here for five nights last week. Didn't get anything offered except the late checkout. From a room perspective it didn't matter, as the one we had was a great size, with a separate space for a large couch, armchair and coffee table.

Great location above Nangang station which has MTR, Taiwan Rail and the northern terminus of the High Speed Rail.
