well I know I certainly 'did' but today I received an SMS telling me I still do.

I'm currently 57th n the queue of all you people trying to claim these phantom credits.

Oh dear me, someone needs better criteria before firing off all those SMS. (48th in the queue now.)

seems I DO have a travel credit. I really though it was refunded previously. It's from a flight originally booked Feb 2020.

I am now advised I can use it for bookings for myself, a family member, anyone, a hotel or an upgrade. A long way from the original "a fare of equal or higher value"

Thank you senate enquiry!

If only Qantas invested in IT back in 2020~2022 to create a "travel bank" type system for all credits... I hate to think how much call centre staff they have just handling these presumably hundreds of thousands of travel credits.

One of my friends had a$175 flight credit that had been converted to a TravelPass but didn’t keep the booking reference nor could remember getting the Pass emails

Long story short
After multiple calls
The credit has been refunded
