Some Australian Ibis Budget properties now ALL participating

Unfortunately the ALL website still lists Ibis Budget in Australia as not participating. Has anyone had recent experience where points/nights have credited successfully?

Actually, Mantra, Peppers, Breakfree and Art Series all earn at an even lower rate than Ibis Budget.

(NB. The Ibis Budget hotels that do participate were all under the same ownership at one point)

Unless things have changed Ibis Budget earns at the lowest one (5 points per €10) on the table below which is less than half of Peppers, Mantra etc.
I’m unaware that Ibis Budget has been bumped up to the same rate as the other Ibis properties

Thanks for the share. I can confirm having stayed at the Ibis Budget Coffs Harbour that indeed one can earn nights, points and QFF points for such a stay. What is less clear in reading this is whether other perks of being an elite are honoured. For instance, does one get a free drink voucher or free breakfast as an Accor Platinum? Certainly when I stayed at the Ibis Budget Coff's Harbour that wasn't the case (then again, the breakfast spread left much to be desired and certainly not worth the $10 extra IMHO).

Received welcome gift at Ibis Budget Enfield, was Accor Plus Gold at the time.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but thought I'd include another data point for those thinking of booking a participating ibis budget property in Australia. The current offer of 500 bonus Accor points for every ibis stay was activated prior to booking. This past weekend I stayed at the ibis budget Sydney Olympic Park as an Accor Platinum. As a Platinum I received free breakfast from along with two small bottles of mineral water and a box of Springhill Farm cakes. Late checkout of 12 PM was also provided.

Today I checked my Accor account and all the points (including bonus points) and most importantly the elite night towards retaining Platinum status were posted:

Glad you post this stuff .. it is good to keep the info. flowing .. great perks for an Ibis Budget!

I too received the 500 points on the Ibis Promotion for a stay at the Ibis Styles The Entrance last weekend.

Just to close the loop on my stay at ibis budget Sydney Olympic park, the Qantas points for the stay also posted:

Pity these stays don’t attract any status credits 😅

Stayed at the ibis budget Wentworthville this past weekend and sure enough the nights and Accor points posted 2 days later:

It's almost comical that the stay earned more QFF points than Accor points...
If it wasn’t for the 500 bonus point promotion at Accor properties that would certainly be the case!

Can also confirm re: Ibis Budget and received a drink of choice from their alcohol fridge to take to my room. Will have to look at what I paid, change to Euro and so forth to work out what rate I'm earning at. I had assumed it was above Mantra rates as indicated by @oz_mark

Oh and for those curious I did also earn Qantas Points on that stay too:

Free booze? Well that's something new! Mind sharing what property you stayed at?

Can now confirm an ibis budget does earn at the lowest level of 5 status points, despite not saying as such on the website earning table. Bit deceiving as you'd think it would come in with the other ibis properties, if not explicitly mentioned. No worries. Is what it is.

"stayed" - haha

ibis budget Brisbane Airport. The ibis Styles in Brisbane was cheaper - but to stay there I would have had to deal with BNE traffic and pay for expensive parking, just to check-in and head home, so this was cheaper overall.

On check-in they offer choice of drink from an alcohol filled fridge in reception, stuff like rum and cola, UDL, beers etc.

You did well getting a welcome drink when one is not applicable. The Myer Centre car park is handy for the Ibis in town but still a PITA and given the season probably busy. I maxed out my 500pt bonuses a few weeks ago after HKG and two BNE-MEL road trips where the Ibis Budget was handily priced on RHR.

It’s hidden away in the T&C’s
