Trying a book a flight Melbourne to Jnb in Nov next year going Premium Economy from Melb to Jnb and okay I am aware of that I go via Sydney as done this trip many times pre covid. I noted that they allow me one hour 15 minutes to get from domestic to international.- which would be like trying to win goal for Australia in the Olympics.

But the worst was to come on the return flight no economy seat listed from Sydney to Melb unless I paid $1000 more or I had the following options - Syd- Hobart- Melb or Sydney - Albury - Melb or Sydney - Adel- Melb - think I book with Singapore airlines cheaper and quicker via Singapore

Then this morning I got a update on premium economy fares which were not listed 24 hours ago and they gone up another $1200 making round trip $5337 but only one direct flight from Sydney to Melbourne - stating nearly all gone!!!

Thanks Qantas for nothing next step to retrieve my Qantas travel credit in cash before the expirey date. Pre covid travel Melb- JNB return premium economy was $2,298.27 -

Fares for Nov 2023 (~13 months) will be at max, because only people who need/desperate to go at that day will be booking.

Tried EK or QR?

Actually just saw that part. Nov 2023 wouldn't even be available to book yet, that would be an impossibility.
The fares that would be coming up would be for Nov 2022 and those prices would make sense, being a last-minute booking in a premium cabin.
