Friday's QF3 was operated by VH-OGS.

If they were there, the PIFE screens stow under a flap on the armrest¹ , you lift them up, out and forward.

¹ Coaster side, not the side with controls.

Yup, definitely did *not* have those. I didn't take a pic of the seat, but there might be some pics of the side areas thanks to Little Miss taking pics or extra space on the sides of the pics of the meals.

These are the best photos of the seat that I have from the flight:

Seat 2A's controls. I realise this probably doesn't help.

Not sure if this helps, can't really see either armrest.

Mr Katie insists he was looking for the PIFE, and found a tray table where he expected it to be. He then looked around the armrests, and at that point was told by a J FA that there were no screens, and it's an old plane. The stats for which plane operated that flight obviously contradict the information we were given in-flight.

It is hard to tell - I have a feeling that the seat controls are on the other side.

In the A seats of a 767 Dreamtime seat, the IFE screen should be in the left (window) side arm rest and the tray table in the right arm rest. Its normally a matter of opening the arm rest (it hinges along its length on the window side) and pull up the IFE screen using the small leather tab at the top of the screen. Once raised and the screen rotated, the arm rest cover can then be closed again. so if there was no screen, there would have been a big empty space under the left side arm rest.

Coming back to this, did you find the volume controls?

Looking the image of the A seat I linked to, they were under a flap on the opposite armrest to the one stowing the seat controls/tray table. (LH side for the A seat)

The Screen would normally be stowed down beside the volume control/AV selector.

Yes, I did find volume controls. I do not think I had to life the flap to access them. (I guess, If I had've lifted the flap, I would've seen the PIFE or gaping hole). I'm pretty sure that the volume controls were down from the flap which should have opened for for PIFE, they were "in" the arm rest. Very much like late 90s/early 00s Y Intl volume controls. Channels available were 0-9, IIRC.
