Spending "a few" 100K QFF Points to Get from UK to PER?

You can search Oz-DOH return to see what’s out there. But there’s a whole other bun fight going on with QR availability on QFF (now that VA also can earn/burn).

I didn’t look that hard but I didn’t notice anything on EK - again, something else going on there (been reported that there’s a lack of EK redemptions and the few there have the excessive carrier charges EK (not QF) are imposing….

If you’re looking way out, CX from memory come online the earliest. If youre considering anything this side or during next Euro summer take what you can (and probably limited to whY).

Interesting, DOH comes up on the main page, just doesn't work on multi-city. So many issues, no wonder people end up using them on things other than flights. As you say though, nothing coming up at all on QF/EK/QR. MH options come up, but not seeing any CX. Anyway perhaps one to have a play with on the weekend, it's bedtime for me now.

You can use standard search, select the use points option. then when the stupid priced any seat award come up, look for the little banner buttons and select "rewards only".
It's incredibly annoying but will show classic rewards.

It didn't for me on all the dates I tried, whereas multi city did. Shrug!

The system is just so incredibly broken I feel like all search options should be used.

The tip in thread about cathay awards had me searching multi-city. A frustrating experience. Search Mel-Hkg no direct option offered but MEL-SYD-HKG (your flight SYD-HKG will be in economy). so I changed to search SYD-HKG > NO direct options but SYD-MEL-HKG...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
