You would hope not, and I may take some license in my comment. Regardless, the spice bar is hit and miss—it is still better than whatever is on offer in Sydney, though.

...Had the pork

A fail. This was just after 12 and they had just opened. Pork was dry and tge only thing with taste was tge kimchi. One of the more disappointing options.

Was good on Friday 04 OCT - hopefully it wasn't THAT old!

For those who regularly pass through MEL, is there a set rotation of dishes?

I had the pork today as well.


Approx 2pm. Bit of a stingy serve but at least the kimchi could be added to from the side bar.

Lots of chillies so I was pretty happy. Pork lacked a bit of flavour but my sample was actually pretty tender.

I had Melbourne Spice Bar "chicken" laksa Monday evening and its was mainly Laksa sauce and noodles with tofu and a few minimalistic shards of shredded chicken.

Laksa Broth/Sauce was tasty enough.
