This was a bit of a walk from the bus stop we got off from but it is indeed in a great location right on the lake with an inlet offering a few tiny rocky beaches & a dramatic shoreline across the lake.
Our arrival seemed to coincide with MotoGP racing on the lobby tv so our greeting consisted of a quick walk to the room on the ground floor and a handing over of the keys-maybe he was a Rossi fan. In fairness the lady we met later was certainly more outgoing & indeed interested in providing information & discussing her experiences in Aust. Despite some grand reviews we found the hotel to be equivalent of a small Aust country town motel-reading back the raves are justified for the lake views (many reviewers were there for weddings) but overlook the faults in the actual rooms. There were flaws with the bed not fitting the wall it was set on, poor blockout by curtains, lack of lights & power points, fridge not working, poor amenities & noise between rooms. Generally, all done on the cheap.
On positive notes there was a tourist bus shuttle with a stop outside than ran hourly, there was plenty of storage & other than the lack of dish washing equipment, the small kitchen area was functional & had decent sized mugs for a morning coffee. There was a supermarket about 500 metres away & a smallcafe/bar a similar distance.
It is a good 30 minute walk from the apartments to the centre of the main square but the tourist bus is a great alternative-not crowded while we were there.
