Fingers crossed the 'Available from 10:30am' menu will be available just that little bit earlier, otherwise how can I have my Salt & Pepper Squid (still the best I've had anywhere in the world) before boarding QF11?

Quinoa and Soya toast looks nice - might have to give my usual poached eggs the boot when we are there on the 8th.....

I'm going to go against the grain and say that I don't find those menus terribly exciting.

But - I won't go hungry - I'll just be sticking with the staples.

The pancakes do like nice though...

Love that the standard Bowl of Chips is still cruising along. For those of us who ain't so fancy :)

Have to say I have the same initial reaction. But then I had that with the winter menu - didn't look that inspiring, but after eating several of the dishes I thought it was fantastic and the best I've experienced.

So, I will commit to sampling as many items as possible before coming to an informed conclusion!

Nice to see a Vinomofo favourite on the wine list (Maverick Twins GSM) ;)

I am eyeing off the Rockford Alicante Bouchet 2014 and the Heemskerk Pinot Noir 2012.

But I guess that means I need to fly QANTAS...

Not at all. You can be on any OW airline or codeshare ticketed as QF or JQ, as long as you are a OWE. Of course I think CX is the only other OW carrier out of MEL. Can EK F passengers use QF f lounge?

I was being facetious... But thank you for clarifying the access rules anyway.

I thought Winter 2014 was the best menu I've seen since I first set foot in the F lounge in 2009.

Ever since then, TBH, I have found each menu update less inspiring than the last.

I'd actually rather NP took an extended leave of absence and the Lounge management just re-rotated the menus that they already have over the last 5 or so years.

I'm happy to compromise if the bread and butter chocolate croissant pudding is brought back permanently. (Only because I wouldn't get that far through the rest of the menu )
