Spurious alert

When I accessed AFF earlier today, an alert was showing: when I clicked on it I saw...

However, I have never posted in this thread and the response was to someone else. What is going on?

I know that on my phone, if I reply with a quote but then change my mind and close the page, sometimes the quoted text appears on another quoted reply. Maybe the same thing happened here and the user posted, then edited to remove the incorrect quoted text?

Yep, potentially a saved draft. I make it a habit now of explicitly deleting the saved draft if I start a post and then subsequently decide against posting it. Just to be safe.
