Had a look at a fake revenue booking for 11th and 12th may CDG-SIN, there's no direct flights, only 3 flights via MUC or ZRH or FRA.
Someone pointed out on Flyertalk, that when cancelling a flights it's common to block adjacent flights from sale until people on cancelled flight have been reaccomodated. So 11th likely to be running, but if you want to stick with date/time, worth seeing if they will reroute you via LHR (it will be the only A380 flying out of Europe that day, as ZRH is showing as 77W and FRA-SIN A380 also cancelled that day). Otherwise ask to reroute via ZRH!
Only saw A350/777 via FRA/MUC/ZRH. No 380 at all. Didn't see any option via LHR, as I assume there's no direct *A between CDG and LHR.
I disagree.Hum interesting point @ozfflyer just a little off topic. My concern is that pricing on some routes will skyrocket - e.g. Oz-Europe via Middle East, any others than don't transit Asian cities (not just China).
I'm watching this thread like a hawk as I have SQ flights coming up (SYD-SIN-CPT and MRU-JNB-SIN-SYD) in March/April - so far they haven't been impacted.
I disagree.
Think all long haul travel will suffer for a year or 3.
The Chinese will have fares so low to eg. EU/UK, some who wouldn’t normally fly with them, will.
With reduced demand before Corona, this year is going to be very very difficult for many airlines.
Some without strong domestic networks will surely fold.
