SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Suites are big enough that you can share the one suite at times.

They certainly are. However I prefer to be able to lean over and say something to my partner whenever I want, and not have to get up to do so,

Now I love a window seat, but that doesn't mean that I don't have more fun giving that up to share the experience.

I can only speak from my experience monitoring these routes since maybe December last year (TO east coast currently continuing and FROM west coast up until maybe a month ago) but what I was finding was for LAX Monday and Tuesday departures I could see 1 F saver almost all the time and 2 probably half the time. I do note that you can only waitlist for the Monday that was released this morning so perhaps this has changed.

Also I was checking right after 10am EST so possible that anything released is being snapped up almost immediately and any redemption would need to be made in the first hour or so after release.

Regarding this I decided to check this morning. 1x F saver LAX-SIN released this morning for Tues 30 June. Can waitlist 2.

3C best seat in the house - rarely will anybody select 3D if you get in first - gives you double Suite for sleeping and 2 x surface area to rest your computers / personal belongings etc with ease - windows useful for like 3% of total flt time - seen one cloud you seen them all - are you RHD or LHD tnj?

I'm right handed
!

What's the reason why 3d Is rarely used?

I did read the discussion of choosing 3c Or 2c and being asked to move, which isnt a problem for me, if i have a chance of getting a double

If you get in first for 3C unlikely another pax will choose to sit beside you in 3D unless cabin full - gives you double Suite to yourself.

C/F Suites for RHDs and A/D Suits for LHDs - it will all become obvious once on board - no bad Suite in old R.

Only if tray deployed during meal time - if non meal time almost guarantee your tray will be stowed and your glass situated in designated glass receptacle and Crew Members will still need to reach across you to refill whichever Suite you are in - or you will pick it up and hold out for them to do so - if RHD much easier in C/F Suites to replace your glass into designated glass receptacle with your RH rather than reaching across your body to left side to do same.

Again it will make sense when onboard - here is image C/D Suite pair - think about it?
