SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Anyone know how to get an Air Canada member number into a booking at all? Booked Mrs NoName using my miles and when I go to manage the booking it only seems to have the option to enter a KrisFlyer number. She’s Air Canada gold curtesy of the HSBC CC and wanting it added for the extra baggage allowance. Is it a case of having to ask them to put it in at check in?

Thumb up the bum method shouldn't obstruct it 🤣

Can’t do that with Cristal 😉

But I hv to say I am encouraged by other wine on the Mel F lounge list. Seem to recall somebody put the boot into mgmt about poor standards last yr?
Yes! I gave them a right serve about Koonunga Hill last year that went right to the SVP in charge. I agree with @Cruiser Elite that DM is Australia's second most overrated wine (love Kevin John though) but I'm more than happy to enjoy a few glasses of DM.

SKL F in MEL is now functioning very well, both in terms of wine list and quality of food. Credit where credit is due, they've fixed all the issues I had.

@Cruiser Elite I am also reliably informed that unfortunately the bean counters have confirmed coloured BPs are being removed from the network very imminently.

Ha! Many airlines are trying to phase physical BPs out altogether.
Even if not coloured by class, I wished they brought back the branded boarding passes like the ones QF give out (at least for International flights).

Yeah. I wonder if that will ever be practical?

Folk without smart phones. And phones running out of battery.

Not to mention the additional time it takes to board as people fuss around, then realise their screen has locked, then unlock, then try again, then try to get the code in focus…

If airlines want to speed up boarding go back to paper!
